Little Cubs Karate

Ages 2.5 - 4

Our Little Tiger Cub Karate class focuses on age appropriate self control and expression. Every child is different and we believe that Karate instruction should be tailored to each and every young child’s individual personality.

Learning to listen to instruction, developing self-control and learning to lead by example are core elements of our Karate for kids program. Using Karate’s traditional basic blocking, punching and kicking techniques, as well as fun games incorporating agility, patience and problem solving, Little Tiger Cubs become strong and learn how navigate their lives.

Tiger Cubs Karate

Ages 4 - 7

                Our core philosophy is to teach children skills that they can use in their normal everyday life. We help develop a child’s core athleticism and physical skills through basic gymnastics and martial art techniques using music, skill-based activities and games in fun, safe and nurturing environment. Kids are introduced to the basics of karate including the correct and safe method for punching and kicking.

Tiger Paws Karate

Ages 7 - 14

The extraordinary martial art, Isshinryu, is the basis of the students karate education.  This art focuses on using quick and relaxed techniques instead of brute forces. The entire body is part of each technique thereby making it very powerful without putting the strain on the ligaments and joints that is often seen in other martial arts. Everything is put to practical everyday context including self defense and  real life skills all in a supportive and safe environment.

Teen and Adult Karate

Ages 14 +

Our classes are so much more than just a leaner body.  We take a complete Mind, Body, Spirit approach working from the inside out to nourish your core being.  Your mind will feel clearer and sharper; your spirit peaceful and confident and your body stronger and more fit. When your body, mind and spirit are at it’s best, then so are you!The complete mind, body, spirit conditioning may be achieved through our Isshinryu Karate class or through our Fitness Program.
